During these times where our health has become highly valued, it is important more than ever to get your information from a reliable source. ProQuest, a well-known provider of several databases, has one for health information called, ProQuest Family Health or Consumer Health Database.
This database offers international coverage dating back to 1988 covering a huge range of public health subjects, including pandemics, disaster preparedness, and obesity. The information is provided by over 190 publishers, over 350 full-text magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, trade publications, and over 300 health video clips from INTELECOM are included in the collection.
ProQuest Family Health provides over 500 publications, including essential general medical journals like, The New England Journal of Medicine and popular health focused magazines such as Men’s Health. This database covers a wide range of subjects from sports injuries to women’s health, from food and nutrition to midwifery, from eye care to dentistry, just to name a few examples.
