Harvard Business Publishing Database Review

Looking for a Harvard Business Review (HBR) title and only finding it in print? Have you tried searching the Harvard Business Publishing Collection database? The Harvard Business Publishing Collection is an EBSCOhost database and can be found on the Databases pages under “Find” on the library homepage.

There are over 600 titles.  EBSCO has partnered with Harvard Business Publishing to have access to resources that help build a foundation for career success. It includes HBR Press books among other Harvard Business Review titles. Business subjects covered are: Business communication, career development, decision-making and problem solving, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, human resources and personnel management, leadership and management, marketing, organizational behavior, personal success, skill development, and strategic planning.

Once you are in the database you can type your topic in the search box.  If you do not have a topic and just want to browse, click on eBooks in the tool bar on the top of the page and scroll through and see the highlights, or you can view all the titles.  Scroll down the page and below the “Highlights” section you can select “Featured eBooks” which cover topics such as, philosophy, political science, psychology and religion. You always have the option to “view all.”  On the left side of the screen you can browse by category. Some of the categories are:  Health & medicine, self-help & family, sports & games.

Here is an interesting title to check out to get you started:  Helping People Change: Coaching with Compassion for Lifelong Learning and Growth.
