Travel and Leisure Journal Review

Whether you are an armchair adventurer or the next Dr. Livingstone, “Travel and Leisure” can help you plan your next great adventure.  Travelers are always looking for the best hotel, the best money saving tips, and the best places to go for relaxation and fun. Whether you want to go camping or stay at that five star hotel, “Travel and Leisure” can help you find the perfect place for your next vacation.

This travel lover’s journal was first created in 1937, as a travel photography journal under the name “U.S. Camera and Travel.” It came into its current incarnation in 1971, with the name change signaling a switch in the journal focus. It now features leisure travel articles written by travel authors, novelists, and artists, including well know personalities like Gordon Ramsay, Fiona Shaw, and Stanley Tucci. This journal focuses on accommodations, food, fun, and where to find that perfect off the beaten path travel destination. Readers can explore famous travel destinations, as well as little known travel gems. Whether you want to go back in time to colonial America or experience your own tropical island paradise, this journal will give you the best resources to plan your next adventure.

Travel and Leisure” is published monthly and is available online through “MasterFILE Complete” database with coverage from June 2015.
