The Freeman/Lozier Library is always changing to keep up with the latest trends and services to offer you our best. Our More Than Books newsletter has a “Did You Know” section that keeps you informed about the changes that have taken place in the library. Here is the latest news from that newsletter:
The Library is conducting a survey on print journal usage? If you use our print journals collection, be sure to fill out the surveys attached to the cover of each journal for every one that you use! Whether you are using a journal for research or just relaxing with an issue of People, filling out the attached survey lets library staff know what is being used how often, and will affect our decisions about purchasing or renewing subscriptions to print journals in the future.
In addition to our new board games, we also have puzzles? While puzzles cannot be checked out, they can nonetheless be taken home with you if you bring in another puzzle of equivalent size to exchange for it. You can see the puzzles available for exchange on the same shelves as our board games, next to our staff picks and new arrivals shelf.
The Library has upgraded its cell phone charging station? Many of the charging cables have been replaced and others upgraded—if you have come to rely on our charging station while in the Library, we are certain it will suit your needs more than it ever has in the past.
