Do you have origami skills? Or, can you fold a piece of paper? Fantastic, we have a contest for you!
The Library would like you to submit a photo of your best origami creation AND either follow the Library’s Pinterest or Instagram accounts OR comment on this blog post to be entered into the contest to win a $15 Amazon gift card! It’s that simple!
Last week was the kick-off to this contest as we hosted an Origami and Afternoon Tea event on January 31. It was a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures from the event, and you can find more on the Out of This World Origami Pinterest board.

- Either follow the Library on social media OR comment on this blog post:
- Must be a current student, faculty, staff, or alumni to enter.
- Enter the contest by February 28, 2018 to be eligible.
If you need assistance with how to make an origami creation, please visit some of the links listed below. Step-by-step instructions are great, but YouTube videos are more helpful, as you can pause the video or slow it down to your speed. Also, here is a link to download some free origami paper templates. http://www.origami-fun.com/printable-origami-paper.html
We hope that this contest will bring awareness to the Library’s social media presence and that you will follow us! Since the Library markets so many of our events through our social media outlets, we want you to know what’s going on! We will even add your origami photos to our “Out of This World Origami” Pinterest board so you can share your masterpiece with your friends and family! You have until Wednesday, February 28, 2018, to enter so start folding now!
