August is already here and Bellevue University is gearing up for another great academic year! We know that starting your degree can be challenging and confusing enough without trying to juggle it with the rest of your life, so join us for Student Orientation on August 24th and 25th at 5:30pm-8:30pm and August 26th from 9:00am-11:30am at the Margre H. Durham Student Center.
Click past the break for more information!
Every year the library makes sure to bring everything we can to help make your orientation as seamless and painless as possible. We have your standard hand-outs detailing the plethora of library support services that we offer, as well as our more specialized services such as our “personal librarian” program or our Kindles for checkouts. Just this year, we’re offering students the ability to check out a portable projector and screen for use in the library building to help with practicing presentations or group work.
It isn’t all drudgery and information at our booth; we’ll have some chocolate “books” for you to enjoy while you make your way through all of the different tables, speak to your academic counselors, complete your entry for the $1,000 tuition certificate, tour the campus, learn about organizations and clubs, and meet with current Bellevue University students. There’s so much happening, you’ll need a little “treat” break.
Hope to see you at the table and welcome to another fantastic year!
